Opening Pages Consults:
$100 – Tobi and Sheila will read up to fifty pages, or slightly more if the scene takes another page or two to end, and your synopsis. This includes a thirty-minute consultation via Zoom and any written notes from our readings.
$75 – Synopsis, Blurb, and Logline check, which includes a thirty-minute consultation via Zoom and any written notes from our readings. Prior to our consultation, we will send you our recommended submission tools.
$25 – First five pages consult. This includes a fifteen-minute consultation via Zoom and any written notes from our readings.

Saturday, Feb. 10, 11am – Zoom Workshop through RWA Kiss of Death BUILD A MYSTERY. Register here. Have you always wanted to write a mystery, but when you get down to it, the story-telling seems daunting? Or maybe you’ve written a mystery that just isn’t hitting your readers quite right. We take a different approach to understanding what makes mysteries tick. No outlining here. Our Story Magic cards give you a unique, hands-on experience in the guts and bones of a good mystery, whether it’s murder or another form of mayhem. Attendees should be prepared to let their imaginations run wild!
Saturday, Feb 10, 1pm BUILD A ROMANCE Heritage Station, Huntington – or virtually! Build a romance with Sheila and Tobi. We’ll be breaking out the story magic cards to create a romance, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Learn what it takes to write a romance, including characters, GMC, tropes, beats, and more. This workshop is great for beginners and those who have a work that isn’t clicking! FREE!!!
